The permanent forums are now being used. You can find them at http://www.jg1.org/richthofen/Forums.aspx, also clicking the Forums link in the navigation will take you to the proper area. Registration is not required. However, if you are registered on the site the forums will use your web site credentials. Logging in is required to see member only forums. 

Working with the forums should be very similar to what you are used to so it shouldn't be too hard to transition to the new forums. Just remember, that hat rack on your shoulders can be used for more than storing your fedora. 

Presently only a few individuals have moderator or even access to every forum; this is due to security mappings road block I am dealing with. This will change as time goes on, but not until I an satisfied that what we do doesn't hinder us.

Also, the forums are displaying your user name for each post, and not your display name. This is not cause for alarm and you should not change anything at this time. I am contacting the people that wrote the forums piece to see if there's anything I can do without changing the source code.
